Why Zo Trips
Grab your backpack. We'll bring the tribe.
Travel with your kind of people
Small batches of 12–16 travellers, most of them solo, all of them up for it. Strangers on day one, group chat for life by day three.
Your Captain handles the plan
Every Zo Trip runs with a trained Captain — a traveller like you, not a tour guide. They sweat the logistics; you live the journey.
Offbeat over obvious
Secret waterfalls, cliff-top monasteries, festival campsites. We build routes around moments, not checklists.
Backed by Zostel
Born from India's biggest backpacker community — 12+ years, 109+ Zostels, and lakhs of travellers hosted.

The tribe
A trip creates a tribe. The tribe creates the next trip.
Most Zo Trippers arrive solo and leave with a group chat that refuses to die. Reunions happen at Zostels across the country — and the next departure usually has a few familiar faces.

“I recently traveled to Chikmagaluru, and it turned out to be a perfect blend of nature, serenity, and culture. The trip was filled with stunning landscapes and memorable experiences. We visited the iconic hill viewpoints of Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri, where the cool breeze and panoramic views were absolutely breathtaking. One of the most refreshing stops was Jhari Falls (also known as Buttermilk Falls), surrounded by lush greenery and raw natural beauty. We also explored the peaceful Yagachi Dam backwaters, which offered a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Hirekolale Lake was another highlight, especially during the evening—it was quiet, scenic, and perfect for photography. Our stay at Winter Valley Stay was comfortable and pleasant, adding to the overall charm of the trip. We also visited the historic Chennakeshava Temple, which impressed us with its intricate architecture and spiritual ambience. Throughout the journey, our guide Chandan was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He ensured everything went smoothly and made the trip even more enjoyable with his guidance. Overall, it was a wonderful and refreshing experience. I would highly recommend Chikmagaluru to anyone looking for scenic beauty, peaceful getaways, and a touch of heritage.”

“We recently completed a 7-day road trip to Spiti Valley with Trip Captain Devesh, and it was an exceptionally well-organized and memorable experience for our group of friends. The itinerary was thoughtfully curated, covering some of the most scenic and culturally rich destinations in the region. Our journey through Sangla and Kalpa offered breathtaking mountain views and peaceful surroundings. Witnessing the frozen beauty of Nako Lake was a unique highlight of the trip. Exploring Kaza gave us a true feel of Spiti’s charm. The monastery visits were especially enriching, including the historic Tabo Monastery and the serene Key Monastery. Each location offered a beautiful blend of spirituality, history, and stunning landscapes. Crossing the iconic Chicham Bridge was another unforgettable experience. The 4x4 Jimny driven by Sahil at the challenging terrain and high-altitude roads effortlessly, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the journey. Captain Devesh’s professionalism, knowledge of the region made the trip smooth and enjoyable. His calm and responsible approach gave us complete confidence during the entire adventure. Overall, it was a perfectly managed and enriching road trip experience. Highly recommended for anyone planning to explore Spiti Valley with friends.”

“The Leh Ladakh (with umling la pass) trip has been nothing short of exceptional and memorable for me!This trip comprised of 7 nights, spread across Leh, hunder (nubra valley), pangong lake and hanle. The Zostel team has been really great in handling the group of ~10 members and creating cherish able experiences. Special shout out to Vishal bhai for enabling the same and ensuring that all the queries are answered and resolved in time, if any. The Zostel team made sure that travel experiences are not impacted anywhere and am truly impressed by their dedication towards the same! The stays were great, food was amazing and awesome raw natural beauty of Leh Ladakh. The Zostel team ensured that we had enough time to explore and also cover all checklist items. Overall, I’d highly recommend ZoTrips!”

“I joined the Experience Chopta - Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek, and it was a wonderful experience. The trip was very well organized from start to finish. The itinerary was followed on time, and everything was managed smoothly. The travel and stay arrangements in Swiss camp in Chopta were comfortable and well planned. There were no unnecessary delays, and the pickup and drop-off were handled efficiently, which made the journey stress-free. A special thanks to our Team Leader, Yuvraj, who did an excellent job leading the group. He was friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. He kept everyone motivated during the trek, ensured the group stayed together, and handled everything professionally. His positive attitude and energy made the experience even more enjoyable. The trek itself was beautiful, and I had a lot of fun throughout the trip. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend this.”

“I booked with Zo Trips to Bhutan to fulfill a long-time dream of doing the Rhododendron trek to Tiger’s Nest after my friends backed out( regular story)😇. Bhutan’s complicated permit procedures and lack of easy public transit make solo planning tough, so this was the safe bet and it paid off 🥰.The trip completely exceeded my expectations, especially the accommodations. I had mentally prepared for basic bunk beds( as the name zostel suggests) but was pleasantly surprised with lovely, comfortable hotel rooms instead😁. The itinerary was good and covered the major highlights, balanced by some great bonding moments—like enjoying an energetic karaoke night out in Thimphu with my fellow travelers and learning how to play snooker during our time in Punakha. The on-ground team was phenomenal: Deep was a considerate and highly socialising skilled trip leader, Dorji was an incredibly humorous and informative guide who answered all our questions with a smile, and our driver handled the challenging mountain roads and zero-visibility turns with total expertiselike a superhero. As a frequent solo traveler, the experience did reinforce that I ultimately prefer exploring completely independently rather than navigating the varied interests of a group of strangers. However, for managing the complex logistics of a remote destination like Bhutan, Zo Trips provided a brilliant, hassle-free experience that made a bucket-list dream a reality.”
