Meghalaya Biking
Embark on an exhilarating biking adventure in Meghalaya, weaving through misty hills, winding roads, and scenic landscapes.
This 5N/6D Meghalaya bike tour winds through misty hills, emerald valleys, crystal-clear rivers, and ancient living root bridges. Along the way, you’ll ride past waterfalls that tumble endlessly, canyons that rival postcards, and villages that feel hidden from time. From riverside camping in Dawki to water canyoning in Mawlyngbna, this journey is as much about the thrill of riding as it is about discovering Meghalaya’s untamed beauty.
NOTE: After booking confirmation, we will contact all booked participants via email 12 days prior to the trip's commencement date with further information. A WhatsApp group will be made for all participants to connect and plan their travel together to the origin and destination points.

The plan
Ride Distance: ~180 km
- Arrive in Guwahati by morning and meet your group by 1100 hrs. After introductions, tour orientation, and a quick bike test, it’s time to load up and ride out.
- The journey begins with smooth curves of the Assam–Meghalaya Highway, where the hills roll in to welcome you.
- Stop for a photo session by the glittering Umiam Lake before heading to the dramatic Laitlum Grand Canyon near Smit village.
- By evening, arrive at Jowai, a serene village, away from the bustle of Shillong. Unwind, share stories with your crew, and settle in for the night.
- (NOTE: It is highly advised to reach Guwahati a day prior and get a good rest before your long travel on the first day, or to avoid any sort of delays.)
Jowai at a glance:
A small Khasi town perched on rolling hills, Jowai is known for its green pastures, waterfalls, and a pace of life that feels gentle and unhurried.

“I recently had the pleasure of going on a trip with ZO Trips and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I booked the trip, everything was taken care of seamlessly. Special shoutout to our guide, Steve, who was absolutely fantastic! The journey can’t be the way it was without Steve .His knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made our journey so much more enjoyable that can’t be expressed in words. Never had a guide like him who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. And to our driver, Apubhai, a huge thank you! Not only did he get us safely to our destinations, but he also made the journey a blast with his killer humour and fun vibes! 🤣 Little jokes, big laughs, and safe rides – what more could you ask for?The trip was perfectly planned, and the accommodations were great. The scenic spots we visited were breathtaking. Thank you, ZO Trips, for an amazing experience! Can't wait to travel with you again. Steve and Appu , you've made a loyal customer for life! 🌟"”

“Had an amazing trip! Our trip captain, Devesh, was fantastic and kept everything so organized. The itinerary was perfectly designed and we even had time to add extra stops! Just a small note for improvement: the food at Sissu could use a little upgrade.”

“This was an unforgettable trip which was very well organised. Amazing memories with amazing people. Yuvraj as a co-ordinator was the best person I have met this year. There was never a moment during the trip where I had to think about what to do. He was ready with everything. A great person with amazing conversation skills. Sweet and amazing human being. In future if there is a trip which has him as our co-ordinator I am ready to join without any thought for the location. He ensured that everyone had a great time and made everyone feel very comfortable.”
